Solution Details 

 

AximCloud delivers cloud-native POS platforms on AWS using a modern web-based frontend and containerized backend architecture. The solution replaces traditional store-level POS infrastructure with scalable cloud services, enabling retailers to support large multi-location environments and onboard new stores without deploying additional hardware.

 

Our approach is grounded in a structured modernization methodology, beginning with a 7R assessment to evaluate POS components and integrations, followed by a prioritized roadmap focused on high-impact retail workflows and customer-facing capabilities. We design target architectures using managed databases, containerized services, and secure APIs, and validate performance and scalability through pilot deployments before broader rollout.

 

The platform leverages key AWS services including Amazon Aurora as the core transactional data layer, along with Amazon EKS, ECR, EC2, OpenSearch, Lambda, and Application Load Balancers to deliver a scalable, resilient POS solution. Secure authentication and credential management are implemented using Okta, AWS Secrets Manager, and Parameter Store, while event-driven integrations enable real-time communication with legacy systems.

 

Automated CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and GitOps-based deployments support fast, consistent releases, while centralized observability using CloudWatch and OpenSearch provides deep operational visibility. A high-availability architecture leveraging Aurora Global Database ensures resilient store operations and business continuity with minimal RTO/RPO.
